But they’re not done yet. Since joining the club from Manchester City in 2020, Leroy Sané’s contract hasn’t been extend. While the winger is free to talk with interested clubs, Bayern’s top executive Christoph Freund confirmed contract talks with the 29-year-old.
‘We are talking, it’s important for the players and for us as a club to have a clear plan,’ Freud said of Sane’s contract talks. ‘It’s only a matter of weeks, it doesn’t take forever.’
