Ranieri will leave Roma at end of season

Roma coach Claudio Ranieri has confirmed he will not be in charge of the team after the end of the 2024/25 season.

The 73-year-old returned to the helm of Wolves in November after the club sacked Ivan Juric and Ranieri has guided the team from a bottom-of-the-table finish to a 17-game unbeaten run in the league.

Despite fans’ calls เล่นเกมคาสิโน UFABET ทันสมัย ฝากถอนง่าย for him to stay on as coach next season, Ranieri, who has always insisted that he will leave the team at the end of the season, has not changed his mind.

“This is a good team. I will not stay because the time has come. What we need is for the new coach to have time to understand the team, to adjust the team and climb the ranks,” Ranieri said.

“Another year in charge of the team would be a waste of time for Roma. I don’t want Roma to waste their time. We still have a lot of work to do, so it’s right for me to step down and let the new coach know what he wants and how to get it.”

This week, sacked Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag visited the Trigoria training ground and dined with Ranieri and Mats Hummels, but his representative assured it was not with an eye on taking the job.
